Saperavi Dry Red Wine
Georgia's dark grape, bottled at its finest
GEORGIA · KINDZMARAULI MARANI · 750 ML · 13% ABV
What it is
Saperavi is Georgia's most celebrated red grape — its name literally means “dye” in Georgian, a nod to the deep, ink-dark colour of its juice. This dry red from Kindzmarauli Marani is made in the Kakheti region, the heartland of Georgian winemaking, where the grape thrives in the region's ancient mineral soils.
Expect a full-bodied wine with aromas of dark cherry, blackcurrant, and plum, layered with hints of spice and earth. The palate is rich and firm, with characteristic Saperavi tannins that give the wine both structure and impressive ageing potential.
