What it is
Artek wafers are a Soviet-era classic — light, crispy wafer sheets layered with a rich cocoa-flavoured fat cream. Named after the famous Crimean pioneer camp, they have been a staple of the Russian confectionery counter for decades. Made by Rot Front, one of Moscow's oldest and most recognised chocolate and sweet manufacturers, the recipe balances a delicate crunch with a sweet, mildly chocolatey filling.

Sugar, wheat flour, confectionery fat (refined, deodorised, partially hydrogenated and fractionated vegetable oils: palm, sunflower, soya; emulsifier: soya lecithin; antioxidant: tocopherols), cocoa powder, whole milk powder, salt, dried egg, refined deodorised sunflower oil, soya lecithin (emulsifier), sodium bicarbonate (raising agent), vanilla flavouring, citric acid (acidity regulator).
