What it is
Kissel is a warm — or chilled — thickened fruit drink with deep roots in Baltic and Eastern European kitchens. VALDO's cherry-taste dry mix dissolves in minutes: stir the powder into cold water, bring to the boil while stirring continuously, then serve hot or leave to cool into a soft, glossy gel. The result is a clean cherry flavour with a pleasant tartness — comforting in autumn, refreshing over ice in summer.
