What it is

Red tkemali is Georgia's oldest condiment: sour red plums slow-cooked with wild ombalo (pennyroyal mint), khmeli-suneli, coriander, and garlic, then fired up with red chilli. This spicy variant has a noticeable kick that builds gently on the palate — balancing sharpness, herbal depth, and fruit.

The natural partner for grilled lamb and pork shashlik. Equally at home alongside roasted chicken, grilled fish, or pan-fried potatoes. Spread over flatbread or use as a glaze for the last minutes of grilling.
