Napoleon Cake

Puff pastry layers soaked in custard, finished with a hint of cognac

UKRAINE   ·   TARTA   ·   370 G

What it is

Napoleon is the layered cake that turns up at every Eastern European celebration: dozens of thin puff-pastry sheets stacked with custard cream, left to soften until the layers and the filling become one thing. Tarta is the only cake in its own range made this way, with a cognac note folded into the custard. This is the 370 g blister-packed size — manageable for two or three, without committing to a whole torte.

Ingredients

Puff pastry semi-finished product, drinking water, custard cream mixture, condensed milk with sugar, margarine for creams, preservative: sorbic acid.
