What it is
Serenada is one of Laima's most enduring recipes — chocolate-enrobed candies filled with smooth apple-and-apricot fruit jelly and a generous measure of mixed nuts. The original formula dates to 1937 and has remained largely unchanged: dark chocolate with at least 39% cocoa, whole cashews and hazelnuts, and a tangy fruit core that keeps the sweetness in check. Each box weighs 235 g and contains individually wrapped pieces.

Sugar, mixed nuts 22% (cashews, hazelnuts), apple purée 22% (apples, preservative: potassium sorbate, antioxidant: ascorbic acid), apricot purée 11% (apricots, antioxidant: ascorbic acid), cocoa mass, cocoa butter, acidity regulators (citric acid, sodium citrate), emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, flavourings.
