What it is
Bird's Milk (Пташине молоко) is a classic Eastern European confection — a pillowy soufflé of vanilla cream set with agar, then enrobed in dark chocolate glaze. Zhytomyrski Lasoshchi have been crafting sweets in Zhytomyr, Ukraine since 1944, and this remains one of their most recognised lines. Each piece is airy and delicate, with just the right balance of sweetness and chocolate.
Ingredients
Chocolate glaze (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin emulsifier, vanilla flavouring), sugar, glucose syrup, butter, condensed whole milk with sugar (sugar, whole milk powder, dried cream, milk sugar), dried egg white, gelling agent agar, acidity regulator citric acid, preservative potassium sorbate, rectified ethyl alcohol, flavourings (vanilla, rum, almond, lemon), colouring turmeric.
