What it is
A classic hefeweizen-style white beer from Švyturys-Utenos Alus, one of Lithuania's oldest and most respected breweries. Baltas — "white" in Lithuanian — pours with a beautiful natural haze and a generous white head, hallmarks of an authentic unfiltered wheat beer.
The aroma opens with clove and banana, the signature notes of wheat beer yeast fermentation, layered with orange peel and a hint of exotic fruit. On the palate it is light and rounded, with a gently tart, refreshing finish. A traditional way to serve it: well-chilled in a tall glass with a wedge of lemon.
