What it is
Kolbasprom's take on the classic Russian field kasha — buckwheat groats slow-stewed with pork, fat and aromatics until the grain has soaked up everything. The cavalry-rider logo is part of the brand's identity — they're a Russian meat-products company that grew out of the traditional army-ration kasha format.
One can is dinner for one or a side for two. Heat, eat, done.
