What it is
Borscht is one of the great first courses of Eastern European cooking. This ready-made version captures its essence: a deep ruby broth built on fresh white cabbage for body, sweet beets for colour, carrots, potatoes, onion, and a tomato note that ties everything together. Made to GOST standard, sealed in glass to preserve the clean vegetable flavours.
Preparation is simple: empty the jar into a saucepan, add 200–250 ml water or broth, and heat over medium heat for 4–5 minutes. Serve hot with a spoonful of sour cream and rye bread.
