What it is

The smoked version of the Latvian Dzintars cheese in a larger 295 g block — firm, semi-hard, beech-smoked until the rind turns amber and the smoky note runs all the way through. Slices cleanly, melts beautifully.

Cheese board with cured sausage, melted onto rye, grated over baked potatoes, or wrapped with sausage for a roadside lunch.
