What it is
Talsu Ritulis is the iconic Latvian semi-hard cheese in a small wax-coated round. The green-wax version is herbed — chopped dill and parsley laced through firm pale-yellow cheese. Slices clean, melts well.
Cheese board, grilled-cheese sandwich, melted on baked potatoes, or grated into a herby omelette.
Ingredients
Pasteurised cow’s milk, salt, dried dill, dried parsley, microbial rennet, starter cultures, calcium chloride. Wax coating (non-edible).
