This wine is made from the selected Saperavi (100%) grape variety grown in Kakheti, in Shumi’s own, soil rich “Valley of Roses” vineyard in the village of Tsinandali.
The wine has a rich deep pomegranate colour, with a ripe cherry and blackberry aroma. It has a strongly developed, complex bouquet and a balanced, harmonious taste and is often described by those tasting as “very easy drinking”.
