Sea Cabbage Salad in Oil
Tender kelp ribbons marinated in sunflower oil
EASTERN EUROPE · — · 180 g
What it is
A simple, satisfying pantry staple: young laminaria kelp, blanched and cut into tender strips, dressed with sunflower oil and a light vinegar marinade. Sea cabbage prepared this way has been a fixture on Eastern European tables for decades — valued for its mild briny flavour, firm bite, and the naturally occurring iodine and minerals that kelp carries. Ready to eat straight from the jar, or as a base for a quick salad.
