What it is
Sea buckthorn oil is pressed from the bright orange berries of Hippophae rhamnoides , a hardy shrub long valued in Eastern European and Russian folk medicine. The oil delivers a rare combination of all four omega fatty acids (3, 6, 7 and 9) alongside beta-carotene, vitamins A, C and E, and phytosterols.
It can be taken internally to support digestion, immunity and skin health, or applied directly to nourish dry skin and hair.
Internal: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) one to three times daily, 30 minutes before meals. Do not heat above 40°C.
External: Apply a small amount to clean skin or hair as needed.
