Retro Kvass with Cranberry Juice

Traditional bread kvass with a tartly refreshing cranberry twist

LITHUANIA   ·   VILNIAUS ALUS   ·   500 ml

What it is

Retro Kvass is a naturally fermented bread drink made from rye malt and rye flour, crafted by Vilniaus Alus in Vilnius, Lithuania. The recipe follows the traditional Eastern European kvass method: slow fermentation gives the drink its characteristic mild tang and deep, malty depth.

Cranberry juice lends a vibrant tartness that balances the bread-based sweetness, making this a lively, thirst-quenching drink straight from the fridge. At 500 ml it is equally at home alongside a hot meal or on its own on a warm day.
