Petro Pork Bacon

Cold-smoked Lithuanian pork belly, crafted the traditional way

LITHUANIA   ·   PETRO MĖSINĖ   ·   ±500 G

What it is

Petro Pork Bacon is a cold-smoked pork belly from Petro Mėsinė, a Lithuanian meat producer based in Panevėžys with over three decades of craft. The belly is cured in a brine of salt and spices, then slowly cold-smoked to develop a deep, savoury flavour and firm texture.

Sold in a generous ±500 g piece, it suits a wide range of uses: sliced thin for a charcuterie board, diced into soups and stews, or pan-fried as a breakfast staple. Its balanced smoke and salt level makes it versatile without overpowering other ingredients.

Ingredients

plenty of meat, good chunk, smells absolutely divine. Can eat it as it comes if you like chewy textures (careful with rind its a bit hard). Or you can put some in soups and stews and it will become very soft
