What it is
Pupa is the Lithuanian word for “bean” — and these petite sweets wear that name with pride. Each piece is a glossy chocolate shell encasing a creamy filling of skimmed milk, low-fat cocoa, and aromatic robusta and arabica coffee, finished with a hint of crisp wafer crumble inside.
AB Pergalė has been making confectionery in Vilnius since 1922. Pupa is one of the brand’s most recognisable picks: compact, not too sweet, with that faint coffee warmth that suits both afternoon tea and an after-dinner bite.

Sugar, vegetable fat (palm kernel and palm), skimmed milk and whey powder blend, fully hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm kernel and palm), low-fat cocoa powder, crushed waffles (wheat flour, water, rapeseed oil, sodium and ammonium carbonates, salt, soya lecithin), ground roasted coffee (0.2%), soya lecithin, flavourings.
