What it is
Pasta Zara has been making pasta in northern Italy since 1898. These spaghetti are pressed through bronze dies and slow-dried at low temperature — the process that gives the surface a slightly rough texture, so sauces cling rather than slide.
Made exclusively from durum wheat semolina and water, with no eggs. The result cooks to a consistent al dente in about 9 minutes and holds up well under chunky or slow-cooked sauces.
