Kanapinis Šviesus Pale Beer with Hemp
Light and malty, with a hint of roasted hemp
LITHUANIA · AUKŠTAITIJOS BRAVORAI · 1.0L / 5.1% ABV
What it is
Kanapinis Šviesus is a pale lager brewed in Lithuania by Aukštaitijos Bravorai, one of the country's regional craft breweries. Kanapinis means 'of hemp' in Lithuanian — the beer is brewed with roasted hemp seeds, which lend a gentle nuttiness to the malt backbone without any intoxicating effect.
The pale malt base brings honey and fresh grain sweetness, balanced by a mild hop bitterness. The roasted hemp seeds add a distinctive toasty, slightly earthy note — think roasted nuts with a hint of spice. Clean and refreshing on the finish. Served in a generous 1-litre bottle at 5.1% ABV.
