What it is
Citro is Obolon's take on the classic Soviet-era lemon soft drink, a staple of the Eastern European nostalgic range that many grew up with. Clear, gently sweet, and briskly carbonated, it has the hallmark citrus-caramel note that distinguishes Citro from ordinary lemonade.
Obolon, Ukraine's largest beverage producer based in Kyiv, bottles Citro using artesian water and quillaia extract, the latter giving the drink its characteristic soft, lasting foam. Serve well chilled, over ice, or use as a light mixer.
