Mario Easter Cake with Raisins & Marshmallow Topping
Golden sweet bread, plump raisins, pillowy marshmallow glaze — Easter in every slice
UKRAINE · MARIO · 350 G
What it is
Baked in the tall-cylinder shape that has marked Easter tables across Eastern Europe for centuries, this Mario Paska combines a soft, egg-rich dough with generous raisins and a light marshmallow crown. Kulich (called Paska in Ukrainian tradition) is blessed in church on Holy Saturday and sliced at the Easter breakfast — the first bite after the Lenten fast. Mario keeps the ceremonial shape and the sweet, yeasty crumb of the original while staying moist through its shelf life.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, sugar, raisins, eggs, vegetable fat (palm oil, sunflower oil), glucose-fructose syrup, water, yeast, skimmed milk powder, salt, vanilla flavouring, emulsifiers (E471, E481). Marshmallow topping: sugar, glucose syrup, egg white powder, water, gelatine, vanilla flavouring.
