What it is
Malsena’s wholegrain rye flour is stone-milled from carefully selected rye grown by Lithuanian farmers. Because the whole grain is milled without separating bran or germ, the flour retains all its natural fibre, minerals, and vitamins. The result is a dense, slightly nutty flour with the deep flavour characteristic of traditional Eastern European rye bread. Use it for rye loaves, sourdough bread, crispbreads, and flatbreads — blend with wheat flour for a lighter crumb, or use it in full for a dense, flavoursome loaf.
