Malsena Flour Mix for Cepelinai
Lithuania's most celebrated dumpling — made easy

What it is
Cepelinai — torpedo-shaped potato dumplings filled with meat, curd cheese, or mushrooms — are Lithuania's unofficial national dish. Malsena's mix is built around dehydrated potato flour, which means you skip the grating and wringing of raw potatoes and go straight to the dough. The result is a firm, pliable casing that holds its shape through a long boil and presents cleanly on the plate.
Two ways to use it: mix 400g of the blend with 500ml cold water and knead until smooth, or combine 400g of mix with 4–5 grated fresh potatoes for deeper potato flavour. Either way, the dough is ready in minutes — rest for 2–3 minutes, shape into palm-sized ovals, add your filling, seal, and boil in well-salted water for 15–20 minutes.
