What it is
Vāverīte — «little squirrel» in Latvian — is one of Laima’s most recognisable treats: stacked wafer sheets sandwiched with a cocoa-hazelnut praline filling, then coated in a thin layer of compound chocolate. It has the satisfying crunch of a proper wafer paired with a rich, gently sweet centre — no cream, no icing, just layers. The 40 g individual portion is the original single-serve format, unchanged since the Soviet era.

Sugar, vegetable fats (palm, rapeseed), wheat flour, cocoa powder, glucose syrup, crushed hazelnuts, cocoa mass, emulsifier (soya lecithin), vanilla flavouring, salt.
