The Doktorskaya classic, made in Germany with the recipe that Eastern Europeans grew up on.

What it is
Doktorskaja is arguably the best-known boiled sausage in Eastern European cuisine — mild, finely textured, and satisfying in its simplicity. Lackmann's Sabawa variant brings the same classic character in a 500 g format: smooth pale-pink sausage with a clean porky flavour, subtle spicing, and the tender bite you expect from a properly made cooked sausage.
Heat gently in hot water for 8–10 minutes (do not boil), or slice and pan-fry until lightly coloured on each side. Equally good cold — sliced thin on rye bread with mustard, or diced into a salad.
