What it is
Rakia is the defining fruit spirit of the Balkans, and pear rakia — known as kruškovača — is among the most elegant expressions of the tradition. This clear, aromatic brandy is made by fermenting and double-distilling ripe Williams pears, capturing the clean, fragrant character of fresh fruit in a spirit of quiet purity.
At 40% ABV and bottled at 700 ml, it is best served chilled or at room temperature — in a small glass, without fuss.
