What it is

Pasaka — Lithuanian for «fairy tale» — is Krekenavos’s line of finely textured, gently seasoned cooked sausages. Produced at the company’s plant in Kedainiai, which has been crafting traditional Baltic-style meats since 1957, the Pasaka range is known for its clean, mild flavour.

The 1000 g loaf is a refrigerator staple: slice it cold for open sandwiches, pan-fry it until golden, or cut it into a warming soup.
