What it is
Kastinys is a traditional Samogitian spread, made by blending sour cream, kefir and butter until the mixture turns light and fluffy. This garlic version follows the same age-old recipe — mild tang from the sour cream, richness from the butter, and a clean hit of garlic. Spread generously on dark rye bread, or serve alongside hot boiled potatoes.
