What it is
Jaunpils semi-fat curd (biezpiens) is fresh pressed cottage cheese with a soft crumb and a clean, mildly sour finish — the Baltic everyday staple.
Eat it plain with jam or honey, fold it into syrniki and vareniki, use it for cheesecakes and creamy fillings. Jaunpils Dairy has been making dairy in Latvia since 1912.
