What it is

Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus), hot-smoked whole. The flesh pulls away from the bone easily — moist and flaky, with a deep, lingering smokiness and the natural richness of a high-fat North Atlantic fish.

Sold as a single whole fish. Weight varies per piece; typical range is 300–400 g. Excellent with rye bread and pickles, or flaked into salads and pasta.
