What it is

Halva made from sunflower seeds with roasted peanuts, produced at the Druzhkivka Food Factory in eastern Ukraine. The halva is pressed into a firm, crumbly block — sweet and dense, with peanuts scattered throughout for a toasty crunch. A familiar Eastern European confection enjoyed as a snack or alongside tea.


Ingredients

Roasted sunflower kernels (57%), sugar, glucose syrup, roasted peanuts (7.5%), emulsifier (sunflower lecithin E322), raising agent (saponaria root extract), antioxidants (mixed tocopherols E306, ascorbyl palmitate E304), acidity regulator (citric acid E330), flavouring (vanillin).
