What it is

Fried bread with garlic is made from slices of rye-wheat bread, pan-fried in oil with garlic until golden and crisp. It's a simple, satisfying snack rooted in Eastern European home cooking — fragrant, deeply savoury, with a crunchy bite and a generous garlic punch.

Enjoy them warm on their own with a cold drink, alongside soups like borscht or solyanka, or dipped in soured-cream, cheese or mayonnaise-based sauces.

Ingredients

Rye-wheat bread (rye flour, wheat flour, water, salt, baker's yeast), vegetable oil, garlic, salt.
