RUSSIA · CHERNOGOLOVKA · 1.0 L
What it is
Tarhun is the tarragon lemonade that generations grew up with across the Soviet Union. Its distinctive bright green colour comes from the combination of tarragon infusion and food-grade dyes, while the flavour is clean and herbal — cool on the palate with a gentle sweetness and a faint anise note.
Chernogolovka, the Russian drinks producer based in the town of the same name outside Moscow, has been making Tarhun to the classic recipe since the 1990s. The 1.0 L bottle is the everyday format — cold from the fridge, it is exactly what the name promises.
Ingredients
Prepared water, sugar, tarragon infusion, acidity regulator (citric acid), preservative (sodium benzoate), colours (tartrazine E102, brilliant blue E133), flavouring (vanillin).
