What it is
Tarhun is one of the most recognisable lemonades of the post-Soviet world — a bright-green, strongly carbonated soft drink built around tarragon (tarhun in Russian, the same word as the herb). Chernogolovka, a Russian producer known for reviving classic Soviet recipes, makes this version using artesian water and a real tarragon infusion, not a synthetic approximation.
The 1,5 L PET bottle is a staple format for sharing at the table or adding to a party spread. The taste is sweet and herbal with a clean citrus edge from lemon acid — distinctive enough that regular drinkers need no label to know what it is.
Ingredients
Prepared artesian water, sugar, tarragon infusion, citric acid, preservative sodium benzoate, colours: tartrazine (E102), brilliant blue (E133), flavouring vanillin.
