About this product
A premium-grade selection of dried porcini (Boletus edulis) — generous slices and intact caps rather than crumbled fragments, with a deep walnut-brown colour and an immediate forest aroma when the bag opens.
Soak in hot water for 20–30 minutes, then strain the liquid — this dark, fragrant stock is the secret of a good Russian mushroom soup. Slice the rehydrated mushrooms into buckwheat, into a creamy chicken sauce, into pierogi or vareniki filling, or simmer slowly into a deep mushroom-and-onion gravy. A pinch goes far.
