What it is
Tray Doshirak with the regular chicken broth — the mild, gentler sibling of the spicy "курица с перцем" version. The wide tray is roomier and easier to eat from than the usual cup, and a plastic fork comes inside the pack. The reliable middle-of-the-road choice that has been a Russian student-and-office staple since the late 1990s.
Made by Doshirak Rus, the Russian arm of Korean noodle giant Paldo, at a factory in the Moscow region. The chicken broth base is fermented for over 100 days for a deeper savoury note than a simple stock cube — paired with garlic, onion, ginger and black pepper for a balanced, comforting profile.
How to prepare
Open the tray, tip in the dry seasoning and the broth sachets. Pour in around 400 ml of freshly boiled water — fill to the marked line. Close the lid and leave for 3 minutes. Stir well and eat.
Composition
Noodles: wheat flour, palm oil, modified starch, salt, dried onion, dried laminaria (seaweed) powder, wheat gluten, emulsifier-thickener, beta-carotene (colour), "Premix" stabiliser (E501i potassium carbonate, E412 guar gum, E452i sodium polyphosphate), seasoning extract.
Chicken broth seasoning: salt, flavour enhancer (E621 monosodium glutamate), nature-identical chicken flavouring, maltodextrin, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, ginger, chicken broth powder.
Dry vegetable mix: textured soy protein, dried onion, carrot, dried seaweed flakes.
