What it is
Doshirak is the instant noodle that Russian and CIS households have reached for since the 1990s. This pork-flavour pack contains a block of fast-cooking wheat noodles, a powder seasoning sachet with pork broth and spices, and a sachet of dried vegetables — carrot, spring onion, soy pieces, and seaweed. Pour boiling water, wait three minutes, stir, and serve.
The broth has a savoury, lightly spiced character — a clean pork note with mild heat. Best eaten in the tray or transferred to a bowl with extra hot water for a looser soup.
