What it is

Kvass is one of Russia's oldest and most beloved fermented drinks, made from rye bread or rye malt and lightly fermented to produce a naturally sour, slightly malty refreshment. Dobry Kvass Real follows a traditional bread-kvass recipe, delivering the characteristic deep amber colour and rounded malt flavour that has made this drink a warm-weather staple across Russia for centuries.

At 1.5 litres in a practical PET bottle, it is a ready-to-share chilled drink. Pour alongside pirozhki, serve as the base for cold okroshka soup, or enjoy straight over ice on a warm afternoon.

Ingredients

Water, kvass wort concentrate (from rye malt, barley malt, rye flour), sugar, carbon dioxide, caramel colour (E150d).
