What it is
Gurmanų is Delikatesas's gourmet cold smoked sausage, produced in Joniškis, northern Lithuania, where the company has been curing meats since 1937. Selected pork and beef are seasoned with traditional spices, fermented in the natural casing, then slowly cold-smoked to develop a rich, deep flavour and a firm, sliceable texture.
Cold smoking at low temperature preserves the meat's natural colour and concentrates the flavour without cooking it through, leaving a characteristic mild smoke aroma and a pleasantly dense bite. Slice thin for a charcuterie board or serve alongside sharp mustard and dark rye bread.
