Cucumbers "Bochkovie" 650g

Old-school barrel ferment — sharp, garlicky, seriously crunchy

EASTERN EUROPE   ·   BARREL-FERMENTED   ·   650 G

What it is

Bochkovie — barrel-style — cucumbers are a cornerstone of Eastern European pickling. Unlike vinegar-brined gherkins, these are lacto-fermented in a salt brine, the old-fashioned way that produces a deep, complex sourness with no vinegar involved. Firm and crunchy, packed with dill, garlic, and that signature fermented tang. Classic alongside boiled potatoes, salted herring, or cold cuts — or eaten straight from the jar.
