What it is
Kirieshki are Russia's most recognised crouton snack — baked from a blend of rye and wheat bread, then tumbled in a salami seasoning mix. Not deep-fried. The result is a crunchy, intensely flavoured bite that works equally well straight from the bag or scattered over a bowl of borscht or pickle soup.
