A ruby-red sparkling soda with the juicy, gently astringent taste of pomegranate.
RUSSIA · CHERNOGOLOVKA · 0.5 L
What it is
Kavkazsky Granat ("Caucasian Pomegranate") is part of Chernogolovka's "Russia — route set" series of regional flavours. It takes its inspiration from the pomegranates of the Caucasus, where the fruit has been grown for millennia. The drink is a deep ruby red and strongly carbonated. It has a sweet-tart pomegranate flavour with a light, pleasantly bitter finish, from a touch of quinine in the flavouring.
It is made with real pomegranate juice concentrate and coloured with black carrot. It is sweetened with a mix of sugar and sweeteners, so it is light at around 15 kcal per 100 ml. Serve it well chilled, on its own, over ice, or alongside grilled meat and Caucasian dishes. It comes in a 0.5 L glass bottle.
