Duchess Pear Caramels
A classic hard candy with the fragrance of ripe Duchess pear — a Soviet confectionery icon.

What it is
Djushes are traditional Russian hard boiled sweets flavoured with the Duchess variety of pear. Bright, clear and glossy, they are made by Rot Front — one of Moscow’s oldest and most celebrated confectionery factories, whose recipes date back to the 1930s.
The candy is hard and slowly dissolving, releasing a clean pear aroma with a gentle citrus-acid lift. Simple ingredients, no artificial colours beyond the soft green tint from E141 (copper chlorophyllin, derived from plant sources). A straightforward sweet with real character.
Ingredients
Sugar, glucose syrup, drinking water, acidity regulator (citric acid), flavourings (Duchess, Vanilla), colour (E141).
