What it is
Bucuria's Caramel Snowball is a traditional Eastern European hard caramel candy with a soft, sweet filling. The glossy amber shell gives way to a smooth coconut-cream centre made from powdered sugar and refined coconut oil, creating a gentle contrast between the firm outer caramel and the melt-on-the-tongue filling inside.
Bucuria has been Moldova's most beloved confectionery brand since 1946, and this candy is one of their signature classic lines. Sold loose or pre-packed, it's the kind of sweet that has been a fixture in candy dishes right across Eastern Europe for generations.
