What it is
Lietuviska is a dry-cured pork sausage from Biovela, made in the traditional Lithuanian style. Selected pork ham and coarsely diced lardons are seasoned, filled into natural pig intestine, then slowly dried to a low moisture content — giving the sausage its firm bite, concentrated flavour, and the characteristic ring shape.
Low moisture achieved through natural drying extends shelf life without excessive preservatives. The sausage slices cleanly and works equally well on a charcuterie board or alongside rye bread and sharp mustard.
