What it is
Chernigovskoye is a light lager brewed at the Chernihiv brewery on the banks of the Desna river in northern Ukraine. Produced using natural fermentation from locally sourced barley malt and soft artesian water, it has been one of Ukraine's most widely recognised beer brands for decades.
Pale gold in colour with a light bitterness and a clean finish, Chernigovskoye pairs well with grilled meats, salted snacks or simply cold on a warm day.
