What it is
Utenos Auksinis — 'Golden' in Lithuanian — is the flagship lager from Utenos Alus, one of Lithuania's oldest and most respected breweries, based in the northeastern city of Utena.
Brewed to a classic European lager recipe, it pours a clear golden straw colour with a steady white head. The aroma is lightly malty and bready, with subtle earthy hop notes. On the palate: crisp, clean and refreshing, with a dry, moderately bitter finish.
