Arteni Armenian Sauce Adjika

Fiery Caucasian heat, rooted in Armenian tradition

ARMENIA   ·   ARTENI   ·   260 G

What it is

A thick, peppery condiment made from red chilli and sweet peppers blended with garlic and traditional Armenian spices. Adjika carries a clean, rounded heat — sharp up front, warming at the finish — without masking the natural flavour of whatever it accompanies.

Classic alongside shashlik and grilled meats. Spread on dark rye or toast, stir a spoonful into borscht or bean soup, or use as a marinade base for chicken and pork. Works equally well straight from the jar as a dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Red chilli peppers, sweet red peppers, tomatoes, garlic, salt, sugar, coriander, fenugreek, vinegar.
