What it is
Danish salami is a mild, cooked-and-smoked sausage style popular across Northern and Eastern Europe — denser than a frankfurter, sliceable straight from the pack, and versatile enough for sandwiches, sharing boards, and quick snacks.
This version is made in Latvia by Gaļas nams Ādaži (Meat House Ādaži), a producer from the Ādaži region outside Riga. It is hot-smoked to a firm texture with a pale pink interior and a thin casing. The flavour is mild and lightly seasoned, making it an easy everyday option.
